Lesley Li's Biography

Lesley Li is a TEDx speaker, fintech founder, and former banking professional whose work sits at the intersection of money, behaviour, and responsible technology. With over a decade of experience in financial services, she has worked at leading global institutions including J.P. Morgan, Barclays, and Mizuho, gaining deep insight into financial markets.

She holds two Master’s degrees from the University of Cambridge – a Master of Finance and a Master of Industrial Engineering. She is the CEO and co-founder of U Impact – a wealthtech company leveraging Generative AI and behavioural science to help activate the next generation of investors. Lesley is a strong advocate of a human-centred approach to innovation, believing in the powerful combination of technology, science, and heart to drive genuine and lasting financial inclusion.

Having grown up in China, built her banking career in the UK, and founded her company in Germany, Lesley brings a truly global perspective to her speaking.
