Jimmy Jia is an energy innovator, climate strategist and cleantech expert who has spent more than two decades helping businesses, governments and institutions rethink infrastructure investment through a sustainability lens. As Managing Partner of Inquisitive Partners and ESG Venture Partner at Pi Labs, he aligns capital with climate‑resilient growth and prop‑tech innovation. His counsel has guided UK and US policy makers, and informed boardrooms and summits across North America, Europe and Asia.

He chairs the board of the Center for Sustainable Energy, administering over US $250 million in EV and solar incentives across six states. He is Visiting Scholar at George Washington University, sits on the GRI Technical Committee on Climate Change, and is associate researcher at Oxford Net Zero, where he proposes a pioneering “general‑purpose green ledger”—applying accounting principles to energy, carbon and environmental stocks and flows.
