Christian Habla's Biography
Christian Habla is the Chief Executive Officer of Geopolitical Strategy, an independent advisory partner supporting organisations to navigate global complexity with clarity and confidence. Working with a team of former diplomats, intelligence analysts, and strategic advisors, he helps senior leaders anticipate geopolitical risk, identify opportunity, and make informed decisions in an increasingly uncertain world.
An experienced executive across government, strategy, and law, Christian brings a rare combination of public sector leadership and private sector insight. He most recently served as Head of Reform Strategy and Delivery at Australia’s National Emergency Management Agency, where he led major reform and crisis management initiatives. Prior to this, he advised leading global companies and governments as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company.
Christian has also played a key role in driving reform through multiple Australian Royal Commissions and developed his legal and analytical foundation as a commercial lawyer at King & Wood Mallesons across Australia and Asia. His work sits at the intersection of geopolitics, policy, and business strategy, equipping organisations to respond effectively to shifting global dynamics.
