Dominic Murphy's Biography
Dominic Murphy QPM is recognised globally as one of the most experienced and compelling voices in modern counter terrorism, national security leadership, and crisis response. As Commander of SO15, the UK’s Counter Terrorism Command, Dominic led one of the world’s most complex and operationally demanding security organisations, including over 2,300 specialist officers and staff responsible for counter terrorism, counter‑state threats, war crimes investigations, protective security and international operations.
Across a distinguished 32‑year policing career, including 22 years at the forefront of counter terrorism and national security, Dominic has been at the centre of nearly every major terrorist incident affecting the UK or British citizens overseas since the 7/7 attacks.
