Andrea Di Giuseppe's Biography

Andrea Di Giuseppe is an Italian politician, successful businessman and global CEO.

He started his career at BISAZZA Group, one of the top luxury design brands and world leader in the production of glass mosaic. Here, he took on the challenge of leading the group’s lowest performing company, REPLA. At the time, REPLA’s revenue was €4 million, which he grew to €25 million by 2000.

Following this, he co-founded TREND Group, which designs products using fewer raw materials while having extended durability. The group invests 9-10% of total annual sales on R&D.

In 2021, in an effort to support fellow Italian citizens residing in the United States, Andrea was elected as President of COMITES – Miami for a 5-year term. The COMITES is an elected body that represents members of AIRE (registered Italian citizens residing abroad) in dealing with consular offices and allows Italian nationals to actively participate in their communities. It promotes the interests of local Italian residents through valid initiatives of a social, cultural, educational, and/or charitable nature, or that deal with vocational training, leisure and recreational pursuits.

In October 2022, Andrea was elected into the Chamber of Deputy in Rome as Representative of Italians living abroad in North and Central America. He was also appointed a member of the Foreign Affairs Committee in the Parliament of Rome for a 5-year term.

In July 2022 he was appointed Advisor to the Board of Directors of the Foundry of Fordham University, NY. The Foundry is Fordham’s Hub for Innovation and Entrepreneurship and grew out of Fordham’s commitment to business that advance society in a way that is greater and more meaningful than just profit. The Fordham Foundry has strong partnerships with the entire New York City ecosystem and receives ongoing support from Fordham’s Gabelli School of Business as well as corporate and private donors.

In December 2023 he was elected President of the Committee on International Trade of the Foreign Affairs Commission of the Chamber of Deputies.
