Rayfil Wong's Biography

Rayfil Wong is an entrepreneur, Chinese educator, motivational speaker and author.

A UC Berkeley graduate, Rayfil has been a contestant on American Inventor, an entrepreneur reality television program.  He grew up in Silicon Valley and helped Apple launch iPhone in China back in 2009. Rayfil is a Chinese American who has spent significant time living in Hong Kong, which has given him a great understanding of the growing business atmosphere. Currently, he is the founder and CEO of ProfessorSavings.com which is the largest money skills YouTube channel for millennials with over 400 plus videos.

ProfesorSavings.com aims to teach as many people as possible about the basics of finance, investing, budgeting, and savings which emphasis on being 100% mobile. Using an animated whiteboard and Emoji’s on YouTube, Rayfil believes that the earlier students learn about finance, the better prepared they are to deal with money.

Wong has made over one hundred speeches to over 3000 students and professionals both in the United States and in Asia.

Recently he has been featured in “Startups-demystified” providing tips to founders on how they can execute their vision.  Rayfil is the author, illustrator and implementer of “The Brave Unicorn” (2012), an inspirational children’s book that focuses on conquering fear and achieving goals. It gently encourages children to be creative, persistent and to embrace failures as stepping stones on the way to a successful meaningful life. Rayfil relates this to successful business people who shrugged off failures, and instead saw it as an opportunity to try something new.
