In 1998, Martha co-founded lastminute.com, helping to build one of Europe’s most recognised online travel businesses before its acquisition by Sabre Corporation. She later co-founded Lucky Voice, the technology-led karaoke business that has become a leading entertainment brand, demonstrating her ability to identify new markets and build consumer businesses that combine digital innovation with memorable customer experiences.

Beyond entrepreneurship, Martha has played a pivotal role in shaping Britain’s digital landscape. As the UK’s Digital Champion, she helped drive the creation of the Government Digital Service and GOV.UK, transforming the way millions of people interact with public services. A Crossbench Peer in the House of Lords and Chancellor of The Open University, she has also advised leading global organisations through board roles with companies including Twitter (now X), Channel 4, WeTransfer, British Airways, Chanel and Multiverse.
