Hamilton Helmer is one of the world’s most influential thinkers on business strategy, known for distilling decades of rigorous analysis into practical frameworks that transform how leaders build long-term advantage. A practicing strategist throughout his career, he founded Helmer & Associates, later Deep Strategy, where he led more than 200 strategy engagements for industry-defining clients including Adobe, Hewlett-Packard, Coursera, Mentor Graphics, John Hancock, Raychem, Spotify and Netflix. His work combines deep economic insight with a rare ability to translate complexity into clear, actionable guidance for executive teams.

As Co-Founder and Chief Investment Officer of Strategy Capital, Helmer has spent more than thirteen years applying his strategic principles directly to equity investing, reinforcing the predictive power of his approach in real-world markets. Earlier in his career, he served at Bain & Company, sharpening the analytical foundations that would shape his life’s work.
