Dean McFlicker was born in Winnipeg, Canada, and arrived in Los Angeles with no entertainment industry connections and built his career from the ground up. Rising to Senior Vice President of Marketing at NBCUniversal, Dean helped launch some of the biggest successes in television and film. The Voice, This Is Us, America’s Got Talent, the Minions. Annually, his campaigns drove more than $3.6 billion in sales and helped NBC reclaim its spot as the #1 broadcast network in America.

Now, as Founder & CEO of McFlicker Media, he works with businesses to apply entertainment’s most effective engagement strategies—ones that capture attention, build loyalty, and turn customers into lifelong fans. Not by making companies feel like Hollywood productions, but by using proven methods that work across industries.

His clients range from retail and consumer goods to food & beverage, nonprofits, and B2B services, all looking for ways to stand out in competitive markets.
