Clare E Kenny's Biography

Clare E Kenny didn’t discover she had ADHD until she was 40. Before her late diagnosis, she navigated decades of extreme anxiety, emotional dysregulation, memory issues, addiction and overwhelm. Nobody ever suggested ADHD, and she never considered it herself, because she didn’t fit the stereotypical picture of what ADHD looks like. A lifetime of living with an unregulated nervous system, without understanding why, led her into the neuroscience of performance, leadership, and psychological safety. She now works with organisations to build cultures that don’t constantly activate people’s nervous systems and that leverage diversity of thought to boost inclusion and performance, everywhere from FTSE 100s to fast growing startups.

Drawing on two decades of experience in leadership and learning and development, including leading global wellbeing strategy at Burberry and holding senior roles in consultancies across Europe and Asia, Clare translates the science of the nervous system into practical strategies leaders and teams can use to build psychologically safe, inclusive, high-performing cultures.

Clare has delivered hundreds of keynotes, workshops and leadership programmes internationally, including a TEDx talk. She has worked with organisations including HSBC, KPMG, Novartis, Vestas, Channel 4, and The Harry Potter Studios. Audiences don’t just listen and engage. They leave thinking and behaving differently.
