Carmen Murray's Biography

Carmen Murray is a Futurist, Cultural Forecaster, Transformation Strategist, and one of South Africa’s leading voices on human centred transformation in the age of AI. She helps organisations navigate uncertainty, decode cultural and technological shifts, and prepare for what comes next in a rapidly evolving world.

Her work sits at the intersection of Authentic Intelligence and Artificial Intelligence,
a philosophy she describes as the NEW RenAI²ssance: a defining era where the future will not be remembered for the machines we built, but for the humans we became while building them for a fortified future.

Carmen is the Founder of Carmen Murray Communications, a future-focused consultancy and leading authority in connected marketing in Africa for the biggest brands in the world. The business helps organisations build connected brands, future-fit strategies, and cultural relevance across industries ranging from healthcare and finance to technology and leadership. She is also the founder of Conscious LeadHERS, South Africa’s premier women’s leadership movement, focused on nation building, and empowering the next generation, contributing over 1.7 million educational impact hours in two years.

A respected business voice and industry contributor, Carmen has delivered keynotes and education across Europe, Asia, and Africa, including for representatives of the Cannes Lions Festival.
