Dex Hunter-Torricke's Biography

Dex Hunter-Torricke is a globally recognised communications strategist and technology leader whose career spans two decades at the centre of Silicon Valley and international affairs. He has shaped narrative and strategy for some of the world’s most influential organisations, serving as Head of Communications for SpaceX in 2016 and as Head of Executive Communications at Facebook (2012-2016), where he was Mark Zuckerberg’s personal speechwriter. At Google, he became the company’s first executive speechwriter before going on to lead Global Communications and Marketing for Google DeepMind (2023-2025), placing him at the forefront of the artificial intelligence revolution.

Dex began his professional journey at the United Nations (2008-2010), working as a speechwriter and spokesperson in the Executive Office of the Secretary-General.
