Peter Voser's Biography
Peter Voser is an international expert on global energy commodities and oil & gas markets. In 2013 he announced his intention to retire as CEO of Royal Dutch Shell in the first half of 2014, rounding off over 30 years with the company.
Before serving as CEO, Peter was Chief Financial officer at Shell. Prior to this he was CFO and an Executive Committee Member of the Asea Brown Boveri (ABB) Group of Companies. He has also been very active in international and bilateral organisations, including the European Round Table of Industrialists and The Business Council. In 2010 became Director of Catalyst, a non-profit organisation working to build inclusive environments and expand opportunities for women at work.
Since 2011 he has also been a member of the Board of Directors of the Swiss healthcare research company Roche.
In May 2013 it was announced he would take on the role of Chairman at the St. Gallen Foundation for International Studies in September 2013.
