Emily Cole's Biography
Emily Cole is the co-owner of the Savannah Bananas, known as the Greatest Show in Sports, and a passionate advocate for the foster care community. Alongside her husband, Jesse, Emily helped build the Bananas with a simple but powerful mission: make baseball fun and bring families together.
Inspired by the needs of children in foster care, Emily and Jesse became licensed foster parents during the COVID-19 pandemic and have since opened their home to multiple placements. Through their personal journey, Emily has become a compelling voice for foster care awareness, reunification, and community support. She is a co-founder of Bananas Foster, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to celebrating, educating, and inspiring involvement in the foster care system.
Through her leadership, storytelling, and advocacy, Emily encourages individuals, families, and organizations to build community, step into purpose, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families in need.
