Steve Goreham's Biography
Steve Goreham is an informative and engaging speaker, delivering compelling and provocative programs to businesses, universities, and diverse organizations. Steve is an independent scholar, researcher, and futurist in the fields of energy and environmental policy, as well as a former engineer and business executive with 30 years of experience at Fortune 100 and private companies. He’s Executive Director of the Climate Science Coalition of America, an independent, non-political association of scientists and concerned citizens focused on informing Americans about the realities of climate science and energy economics. CSCA is the US affiliate of the International Climate Science Coalition.
Steve is the author of four books on sustainability, climate change and energy, with over 100,000 copies in print. His newest book, “Green Breakdown: The Coming Renewable Energy Failure” (2023), explains why the Net Zero agenda, a forced transition to renewable energy, is costly, dangerous and destined for failure, using science, economics and in-depth analysis to expose the weaknesses in the planned green energy transition. His earlier book, “Outside the Green Box: Rethinking Sustainable Development” (2017) tells readers “what their green consultant didn’t tell them.” He is also a freelance columnist and frequent guest on radio and TV, including Dennis Miller, Sean Hannity and Fox Business Channel.
Steve holds an MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois and an MBA from the University of Chicago. He has more than 30 years of experience at Fortune 100 and private companies in engineering and executive roles. In his last industry position, he was vice president and general manager of an engineering and manufacturing operation with 350 employees and annual sales of $300 million.
