Sarah Cunningham's Biography

Sarah Cunningham spent more than 20 years working across organisations including Accenture, Google and Mastercard. At Mastercard she served as Vice-President and European Technology Hub Lead, growing the Dublin operation from 450 to 1,000 employees while improving employee engagement scores year on year, including through the pandemic.

Direct accountability for employee wellbeing in that role led her to study the science behind it. She completed a Master’s in Psychological and Behavioural Science at the London School of Economics (LSE), graduating first in her year in 2022.

That same year Sarah became the inaugural Managing Director of the World Wellbeing Movement (WWM), a charity housed within the University of Oxford’s Wellbeing Research Centre. She is a lead co-author of the Work Wellbeing Playbook, host of the Working on Wellbeing podcast, and Chair of the WWM’s Expert Group on Work Wellbeing.
