Jason Bates Keynote Speaker

Jason Bates is a fintech entrepreneur, Deputy CEO and Chief Product Officer at 11:FS, and the Co-Founder of two leading UK digital retail banks, Monzo and Starling. He is a popular keynote speaker on the future of digital banking, fintech trends, leadership, digital transformation, the role of AI, and consumer behaviour.

At Starling, Jason led on product development, branding and marketing.  It was here he met the team with whom he would go on to Co-Found Monzo, which became the quickest crowd-funding campaign in history, raising one million in ninety-six seconds.

Jason was Chief Customer Officer at Monzo, developing innovative new structures that disrupted the world of banking. He led on product and proposition, and designed their award-winning app.  They revolutionised customer interaction, creating new ways to interact with clients that appeal to younger people, and boosted loyalty through referrals.  He recruited a world class team, and defended regulatory submissions to the UK regulator.

As Deputy CEO and Chief Product Officer at fintech consultancy, 11:FS, Jason leads delivery teams in work across the financial services market to help banks drive digital transformation and implement innovative change to deliver ‘truly digital banking’.  He brings a mix of big bank experience with a startup / digital approach and helps clients develop mobile platforms and target different markets.
