Graham Lovelace 's Biography
Graham Lovelace is a globally recognised strategist, writer and keynote speaker on the impacts of generative AI on media, society, and the evolving policy landscapes across the US, UK, and Europe. Known as “The AI Truth-teller,” he brings clarity to a field often clouded by hype, busting myths, exposing risks, and calling out bad behaviour by the companies shaping the AI revolution. An award-winning journalist and senior editor, Graham has spent more than three decades at the intersection of media and technology. He has been a journalist, editor, consultant, producer and entrepreneur, with a lifelong interest in the future of information. He was part of the team that launched Teletext Limited in the UK, becoming editor-in-chief of the most commercially successful information service of its kind in the world. His journalism career includes senior roles at the BBC, Visnews, BSB News, ITN, Channel 4 and the Press Association, complemented by executive education at Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program.
Today, Graham applies this deep media experience to the AI age, sharing research and analysis in Charting Gen AI, his acclaimed newsletter read in over 120 countries. He advises organisations on AI strategy and policy, offering a rare blend of practical newsroom experience and future-focused insight.
