Anu Arasu's Biography

Dr Anu Arasu sits at the intersection of two worlds that rarely talk to each other: the biology of what happens inside a person under chronic pressure, and the organisational dynamics of what happens to a team or a whole system under that same pressure.

A physician for over 20 years, she has spent the last decade running her own precision hormone and metabolic clinic and works alongside a consultancy firm, helping organisations operate at their highest potential — asking, in effect, is this system healthy? Is it functioning at its metabolic best?

Healthcare is her flagship sector, but the mechanism she works with is the same in any highly regulated, high-stakes industry.

She has served as a spokesperson for Cancer Research UK, written regular columns for Metro, GPonline and Natural Health, and contributed to The Guardian, BMJ, HuffPost, Channel 5 and Sky News.

Why Book Anu Arasu as a speaker?

  • She combines more than two decades as a practising physician with expertise in organisational performance, helping leaders understand how chronic pressure shapes behaviour, decision-making and culture.

  • She reframes culture through the lens of biology, showing how the conditions leaders create directly influence how people think, feel and perform, and ultimately the outcomes organisations achieve.

  • She translates complex insights from medicine, human behaviour and systems thinking into practical leadership strategies that build trust, psychological safety and high performance in demanding environments.

  • She brings a clear prescription for creating cultures that thrive in high-stakes, regulated sectors, helping organisations strengthen engagement, retention, safety and long-term resilience.

  • Her interactive sessions equip leaders with tools they can apply immediately, connecting culture directly to the performance, risk and organisational outcomes they are accountable for delivering.
