Déborah Berebichez's Biography
Dr. Deborah Berebichez is one of only 120 women scientists in the world with a life-sized statue exhibited at the Smithsonian and the MIT Museum — an AAAS IF/THEN Ambassador recognized for shaping the future of science.
She was the first Mexican woman to earn a Ph.D. in Physics from Stanford, working under Nobel Laureates Robert Laughlin and Steven Chu.
She is a Partner and AI Products Leader at EY, where she leads global enterprise AI platforms across financial services, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, and the public sector — including EY’s joint go-to-market with NVIDIA and Microsoft, and an eight-agent AI platform for anti-money-laundering that is now foundational to EY’s financial crime strategy.
She previously commercialized Finland’s first quantum computer at VTT and has shipped 25+ AI products across Fortune 500 clients.
For 11 years she was co-host of Discovery Channel’s Outrageous Acts of Science, and has keynoted TED, CERN, YPO, Wired, and the Grace Hopper Celebration, where she addressed 18,000 people.
