Alex George's Speaking Topics

  • Mental Fitness for All

Do you feel that school gave you the tools to look after your mental and physical health? Neither do I. The truth is, most of us are missing out on our true potential in life, simply because we were never given the knowledge we so desperately deserve. Using my expertise in mental fitness and health, I will provide a framework that will change your life for the better.

Think of the brain as your hardware and your mental health as the software. This talk gives you the tools to upgrade both, using science backed methods and habits that will ultimately change your life. Make today day one.

  • Building Resilience and Dealing with Change

Change is inevitable, but how we respond to it determines whether we grow or crumble. In a world that moves faster than ever, resilience isn’t just a personal strength, it’s a skill we can all learn.

Drawing on my expertise in mental fitness and health, this talk explores the science of resilience, why some people thrive under pressure while others burn out, and provides practical, evidence-based tools to help you adapt, recover, and perform at your best.

You’ll learn how to reframe setbacks, build emotional flexibility, and turn uncertainty into opportunity. Because resilience isn’t about avoiding stress, it’s about mastering it.

  • The Productivity Paradox: Science Has the Answer

Poor productivity costs the UK £140 billion per year - but the solution isn’t simply working harder. True productivity is about feeling fulfilled, working with purpose and doing what matters,

For businesses, investing in employee well-being isn’t just the right thing to do - it drives profit, reduces turnover, and strengthens growth.

Drawing on my books, I share the five key pillars to sustainable productivity, blending science with practical strategies. This talk will transform how you and your team work - boosting both performance and well-being.

  • Men’s Mental Health: Everyone’s Business

Men account for 75% of all suicides in the UK, yet outdated ideas - like being told to “man up,” “real men don’t talk about their feelings,” or that “stress is just part of success” - still prevent many from seeking help. We all have a son, brother, dad, or uncle - and too often, we assume it won’t affect us, until it does. This silence comes at a cost, impacting not just individuals but families, workplaces, and communities.

This talk challenges harmful stereotypes and offers practical, science-backed strategies to boost well-being and manage stress. I’ll share simple tools, my own journey, and the lessons that led me to co-found Mettle - because when we prioritise mental fitness, everyone benefits.

  • Embracing Neurodivergence

Around 1 in 5 people are neurodivergent - yet many still go through life undiagnosed or misunderstood. In this honest and empowering talk, I share my journey as a late-diagnosed neurodivergent individual, exploring what it means to understand and embrace a mind that works differently.

Blending personal story with research and lived experience, this talk unpacks the breadth of neurodivergence and the many ways our brains process the world. We’ll explore masking, stigma, and the everyday challenges faced by neurodivergent people, while also looking at how we can shape workplaces and societies that are more understanding and supportive.

By recognising and supporting neurodivergent minds, we not only reduce barriers, we unlock incredible skills, creativity, and talent.
