Ana Victoria García Álvarez's Biography

Ana Victoria García Álvarez is the former Regional Director for Endeavor México, leading operations in Mexico City and Monterrey. Afterwards, and due to her great interest in developing businesses and economic impact, in 2012 she founded Victoria147, the first platform for training, empowerment and acceleration focused on supporting women entrepreneurs, becoming the youngest woman entrepreneur to have created a business accelerator of its kind. Over a decade later, she has impacted more than 30,000 Mexican, Latin American and U.S. Hispanic market female entrepreneurs with her education and training online and in-person programs. Victoria147 was certified by Mexico’s Secretary of Economy as an official accelerator and maintains presence in Mexico City, Monterrey, and Mérida.

She is an entrepreneur, author, speaker and promoter of female talent.

García Álvarez is the first female shark on Shark Tank México, appearing in the original cast when she was 32 years old. She is creator of her podcast Más Cabrona Que Bonita (More Badass Than Pretty) and author of ELLAS: La Historia de Emprender Contada por Mujeres (ELLAS: The History of Entrepreneurship Told by Women). This book narrates her experience as an entrepreneur and collects the voices of 21 women who have faced different challenges in the business world, offering both inspiration and practical tools for aspiring entrepreneurs.

Ana Victoria was named by Forbes México as one of the 100 Most Powerful Women in Mexico in 2016 and 2017. She was recognized by Expansión Magazine as one of their “30 Under 30” and was selected in 2015 by Fortune Magazine in New York and the U.S. Embassy for her trajectory and social impact. She has participated as a speaker at the Seventh Edition of MBA México at MIT and Harvard, Forbes Forum, PepsiCo International Forum, WOBI on Entrepreneurship, WConference, and Martha Debayle’s “Enchúlame el Changarro,” among others. She has served on the advisory boards of over 40 entrepreneurial companies and created the first gender equity certification for corporations to advance women’s professional development. She maintains a column in Fernanda Magazine and is fluent in Spanish and English.
