Paul Spiers's Biography

Paul Spiers is a global keynote speaker and the founder of The New P&L® Institute, where he champions principled, purpose-led leadership for a rapidly changing world. He hosts The New P&L® – Principles & Leadership in Business, a podcast ranked in the top 5% globally, offering practical insight on aligning values, culture and strategy in the Age of AI.

Since launching the series in 2019, Paul has recorded 260+ episodes with leaders and innovators, distilling lessons that help organisations build curiosity, coherence and accountability into everyday decision-making. In May 2024 he delivered the closing keynote at the AMEC Global Summit in Sofia, and in June 2025 he spoke at London Tech Week.

His forthcoming book, The New P&L – Principles & Leadership: A Six-Step Framework for More Principled Leadership & Purpose-Led Business (Autumn 2025), translates his frameworks into an actionable playbook for teams and boards. Born in Aotearoa/New Zealand and of Irish, English and Māori (Ngā Mahanga a Tairi) heritage, Paul brings a culturally rich perspective to leadership, now based in the UK and working internationally.
