Sarah McInerney's Biography
Sarah McInerney is an accomplished journalist, author, broadcaster, speaker and moderator.
A graduate of Trinity College Dublin,with a degree in Politics and Philosophy, Sarah has gone on to make significant contributions to the field of journalism. Sarah’s extensive media experience includes reporting and presenting for RTÉ, Newstalk, and the Sunday Times. She has anchored several flagship programs, including Morning Ireland and Drivetime on RTÉ Radio One, as well as The Sunday Show on Newstalk.
Sarah has also authored several publications, including a book, ‘Where No One Can Hear You Scream: A Memoir of Murder and Manslaughter.’ Additionally, she has written for various prestigious publications, including The Irish Times and The Guardian.
A highly respected and sought-after speaker and moderator, Sarah is known for her engaging and incisive contributions. She has spoken at numerous events and conferences, including the Dublin Tech Summit, the Dublin Feminist Film Festival, and the Global Women’s Summit.
Sarah has received numerous accolades and nominations for her contributions to journalism. In 2018, she was awarded the prestigious News Broadcaster of the Year award at the IMRO Radio Awards. She has also been a member of the Broadcasting Authority of Ireland’s Media Literacy Network, promoting media literacy in Ireland.
Sarah’s notable education, combined with her impressive professional experience, has made her a valuable asset to various organisations. She has served on several boards and committees, including the board of the Dublin Rape Crisis Centre.
