Evie Richards's Biography
Evie Richards is a British professional racing cyclist who currently rides for the Trek-Segafredo team. She is a three-time national cyclo-cross champion and has represented Great Britain at the UCI World Championships on multiple occasions. Richards is also an accomplished speaker, known for her engaging and thought-provoking presentations on a wide range of topics.
Richards was born on June 27, 1996, in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire. She began her cycling career as a mountain biker and quickly established herself as a top talent in the sport. She won the British National Cross-Country Mountain Bike Championships in 2013 and was also a member of the British team that won gold at the UCI Mountain Bike World Championships that year.
In 2015, Richards switched to cyclo-cross and immediately found success in the discipline. She won the British National Cyclo-Cross Championships in 2015, 2016, and 2017 and represented Great Britain at the UCI World Championships.
In 2018, Richards made the transition to road racing, joining the Trek-Segafredo team as a neo-pro. She quickly proved herself to be a versatile and talented rider, with solid results in a variety of races. She won the Youth Classification at the 2018 Giro Rosa and finished second at the 2018 UCI Road World Championships in the team time trial.
