Cindy Chin's Biography

Cindy Chin is a tech expert and inventor of multiple AI and machine learning patents in the tech industry. As a strategic operator in the tech industry with CLC Advisors, she is a data evaluator in frontier technologies with focus areas including data, Al, machine learning, geospatial satellite technology and the space industry.

Cindy is part of NASA Datanaut, an open data innovation program to promote data science & diversity operating within the NASA CIO office. She is also an Ambassador of NASA’s International SpaceApps Challenge, the largest hackathon on the planet.

Her experiences as a NASA Datanaut has led her to be a sought-after speaker in Asia, Europe and North America, and a Visiting Professor at the Fachhochschule Salzburg University Applied Sciences teaching a course on Deep Data in Deep Space.

She is a Fellow at RSA (Royal Society for the Encouragement of the Arts, Manufactures, & Commerce), mentor, advisor and board member to tech startups teams including Google for Startups and the Al Data Lab at Howard University in Washington DC.

Cindy is one of Vivatech’s Top 30 Female Founders and a AI Awards North America nominee in 2022, VentureBeat Women in AI Innovation Awards nominee, and IAEE tech startup competition winner. She was also named as one of Entrepreneur Magazine’s 50 Most Daring Entrepreneurs in 2018.

She is a founder and former President & COO of award-winning video AI tech startup CLIPr in the event tech space building patented technology in a video analysis & management (VAM) platform using AI and machine learning. She was also a Co-Founder of Women on the Block to promote diversity and inclusion in the blockchain industry with 52+ all-female speakers at Blockchain Week in New York City and Singapore.
