Alison Victoria's Biography

Alison Victoria Speaker Profile:

As the first female host of the popular Crasher series on HGTV and DIY Networks, Alison Victoria surprises homeowners with extravagant kitchen redesigns completed in a few short days on her show, Kitchen Crashers. She hunts in stores across America for weekend warriors who could use some help bringing style, beauty and simplicity to their kitchens. You would never guess by looking at her, but Alison is a formidable force on a worksite, swinging a sledgehammer, laying tile, or putting up drywall.

Alison began her professional career as the youngest interior designer at Christopher Homes in Las Vegas, creating stunning designs for affluent, semi-custom residences. Two years later, she launched her own consulting firm, Alison Victoria Interiors. With locations in Chicago and Las Vegas, her list of clients is a blend of boutiques, resorts, and private residences. She also spent time as creative director at Silverton Casino Hotel in Las Vegas, overseeing its $160 million expansion and in 2011, received the Rising Stars of Business award by the Las Vegas Business Press.

Alison recently launched Alison Victoria LookBook, a true do-it-yourself approach to interior design. This tool allows consumers all over the country to create beautiful spaces with the originality and custom feel of Alison Victoria Interiors. Consumers simply submit a questionnaire about the work the need done in their home and weeks later a custom box is sent to them, with everything from renderings, to a floor plan, to where to buy the materials they need for the project.

Alison finds inspiration for her designs everywhere she goes: boutiques, restaurants, a friend’s home, on set in Nebraska, or the streets of Paris – her favorite city for design inspiration. She describes both her interior and fashion style as eclectic – the perfect balance of vintage and modern. Alison loves finding contemporary pieces and mixing them with antique finds to give her spaces some personality with substance.

Alison is actively involved in community non-profit organizations such as Movember, Hellenic Museum of Chicago, and sits on the board of PAWS Chicago – a project close to heart with four dogs of her own at home. She was also named one of Crain’s Chicago’s 40 under 40 for 2014.
