Jordan B. Peterson's Biography

Dr. Jordan B. Peterson is a clinical psychologist, author, professor, public lecturer, and business consultant. He is Professor Emeritus at the University of Toronto, where he previously taught for many years, and has also served as a professor at Harvard University.

Dr. Peterson is the author of Maps of Meaning: The Architecture of Belief (1999), a groundbreaking work presenting a scientifically grounded theory of religious and political belief, later adapted into a thirteen-part television series for TVO’s Big Ideas. He is also the author of the international bestselling books 12 Rules for Life: An Antidote to Chaos and Beyond Order, which have sold millions of copies worldwide. His most recent book is We Who Wrestle with God.

He is co-founder of Peterson Academy, an international online education platform designed to bring world-class lectures to a global audience. In addition, he serves as Vice-President of ExamCorp, a neuropsychological assessment company.
