Jeff Jarvis Keynote Speaker

Jeff Jarvis is a journalist, professor, public speaker and former television critic. He advocates the Open Web and argues that there are many social and personal benefits to living a more public life on the internet.  He is the author of “What Would Google Do?“ (2009) and “Public Parts: How Sharing in the Digital Age Improves the Way We Work and Live,” (2011) as well as the ebook “Gutenberg the Geek.”

Jarvis delights in highly interactive conversations with his audiences, speeding around the room like Oprah to tackle problems together. Jarvis is director of the Tow-Knight Center for Entrepreneurial Journalism at the City University of New York Graduate School of Journalism.
