Bronwyn Curtis's Biography
Bronwyn Curtis OBE is a global financial markets economist who has held senior executive positions in both the financial and media sectors. These include Head of Global Research at HSBC, Head of European Broadcast at Bloomberg LP, Chief Economist for Nomura International and Global Head of Foreign Exchange and Fixed Income Strategy at Deutsche Bank. She has also worked as a consultant for the World Bank and UNCTAD on projects in West Africa, Asia and the Caribbean.
She has been Chairman of the Society of Business Economists and is a Governor of the London School of Economics. She was awarded an OBE in 2008 for her services to business economics. She is now an independent economic commentator and holds a number of Board positions.
