Parag Khanna's Biography

Parag Khanna is the Founder and CEO of AlphaGeo, a leading AI-powered geospatial analytics platform. He is also an internationally bestselling author known for his work on global trends, geopolitics, and the future of human civilization.

He has written seven books, including MOVE: Where People Are Going for a Better Future (2021) and The Future is Asian: Commerce, Conflict & Culture in the 21st Century (2019). His widely acclaimed trilogy on the future of world order includes The Second World (2008), How to Run the World (2011), and Connectography (2016). He is also the author of Technocracy in America (2017) and co-author of Hybrid Reality (2012).

Khanna has been recognized as one of Esquire’s “75 Most Influential People of the 21st Century” and was featured on WIRED magazine’s “Smart List.” His work has positioned him as a leading voice on global strategy, economic development, and technological transformation.

He holds a Ph.D. from the London School of Economics, as well as both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University.

Born in India and raised in the UAE, New York, and Germany, Khanna has traveled to more than 150 countries. He is also a Young Global Leader of the World Economic Forum.
