Kim Harrison's Biography

Kim’s favorite word is revel.  She believes we have a responsibility to help one another move to the edge of our individual and collective greatness. She has worked alongside New York Times bestselling author and optimist, Simon Sinek, since 2008. She began by showing up every day to the office – AKA Simon’s living room – to see how she could help advance the movement to inspire. Now as Chief Revel Officer of Start With Why, Kim is charged with building the foundation for which the WHY movement can thrive. The Start With Why team exists to bring Sinek’s bold vision to life – a world where the vast majority of people wake up inspired to go to work, feel safe while they are there and return home at the end of the day fulfilled by the work they do.

The team creates and provides a suite of tools and offerings to help leaders and organizations create workplaces and communities where we put people first. It’s Kim’s job to make sure the team is living this message on the inside. Kim’s strength and passion is to support people to step into roles where they can make the most meaningful and impactful contribution to the WHY movement. After more than a decade in New York City, Kim recently relocated to Denver which she now calls home.
