Graham Potter is one of football’s most respected and progressive leaders, recognised for his innovative approach to management, organisational culture and high-performance team development. Widely regarded as one of the game’s most thoughtful coaches, Potter first gained international recognition during his remarkable tenure at Swedish club Östersunds FK. Taking the club from the fourth tier of Swedish football to the top flight, he guided them through three promotions, won the Svenska Cupen and led the club into the knockout stages of the UEFA Europa League. His achievements at Östersunds have been widely recognised as one of the most remarkable transformation stories in modern football.

In recognition of his success, Potter was named Swedish Football Manager of the Year in both 2016 and 2017. His innovative leadership methods and focus on culture, trust and personal development established his reputation as a pioneer in team performance and leadership.

Potter subsequently established himself in English football with Swansea City before leading Brighton & Hove Albion through the most successful period in the club’s modern history. His success led to appointments at Chelsea and West Ham United, cementing his position among the most highly regarded coaches in the game.

In 2025, Potter was appointed Head Coach of the Sweden Men’s National Team, returning to the country where he first built his managerial reputation.
