Clive Myrie's Biography

Clive Myrie is a distinguished British journalist, recognized as one of the BBC’s most seasoned foreign correspondents and a celebrated face on BBC News. In 2021, he seamlessly transitioned as the Host of the revered BBC series Mastermind. Throughout his extensive career, Clive has notably served as the BBC’s correspondent across Asia, Africa, Washington, and Europe, focusing profoundly on US politics. This interest saw him reporting on three consequential US administrations: Clinton, Bush, and Obama, and crucially, the presidential races involving Donald Trump and Joe Biden. As a speaker, Clive delivers captivating insights on global politics, journalism, and the intricacies of international relations.

Currently, Clive anchors the BBC News Channel presents news bulletins on BBC One, and contributes features and programs for Panorama, Newsnight, and Radio 4. His career, commencing as a trainee radio reporter with the BBC in 1987, has seen him report from over 80 countries, encompassing some of the most challenging environments.
