Anthony Joshua's Biography
Anthony Joshua is a two-time unified world heavyweight champion and Olympic super-heavyweight gold medallist. As of 2025 he holds a professional record of 28 wins from 32 bouts and continues to headline major events worldwide. As a keynote speaker, Joshua translates the intensity of the ring into powerful lessons on discipline, resilience and performing under pressure.
A relative latecomer to boxing, Joshua rose from Finchley Boxing Club to win super-heavyweight gold for Team GB at the London 2012 Olympics. He captured the IBF heavyweight title in 2016, then unified the division in 2017 with his dramatic stoppage of Wladimir Klitschko at Wembley and added the WBO belt against Joseph Parker in 2018. Between 2016 and 2021 he reigned across two spells as unified heavyweight champion, including regaining his belts from Andy Ruiz Jr in a rematch in Saudi Arabia.
After back-to-back defeats to Oleksandr Usyk, Joshua rebuilt with wins over Jermaine Franklin, Robert Helenius and Otto Wallin, before delivering a spectacular second-round knockout of Francis Ngannou in Riyadh in March 2024. Later that year he challenged Daniel Dubois for the IBF title at Wembley; despite a fifth-round knockout defeat, the bout underlined his enduring box-office power and determination to stay at the elite level, with further marquee fights in discussion for 2025.
Beyond the ring Joshua is a hands-on entrepreneur and investor, founding 258 MGT and 258 Ventures and backing BXR London, a premium boxing-led training concept. He is closely involved in community and grassroots boxing initiatives, including funding struggling amateur clubs and financial education programmes for fighters. Audiences value his grounded, relatable presence: a world champion who speaks as a team-mate, role model and business partner, offering practical insight into winning – and sustaining success – at the very highest level.
