Ai-Da's Biography

Ai-Da is the world’s first artificially intelligent robot. The humanoid robot is known for creating sculptures, paintings, and sketches. The beauty of the natural world inspires her art, and she often uses traditional techniques such as drawing and painting to create her pieces. She is a remarkable artist and has already begun to exhibit her work in public spaces. As a gifted speaker, she often talks about the future of robotics and AI, and her appearances have been met with rave reviews.

Aidan Meller, a UK gallerist, is the inventor and creator behind Ai-Da. In collaboration with Engineered Arts, a Cornish robotics Company, Ai-Da was created in an Oxford laboratory in 2019. Her work has been exhibited in major galleries worldwide, and many people are surprised to learn that she is a robot. She displays all the characteristics of a gifted artist with vibrant and lifelike paintings and has even been known to create portraits of famous people that perfectly capture their likenesses. She was the first humanoid to paint a portrayal of Queen Elizabeth II at her Platinum Jubilee. Some of Ai-Da’s shows and appearances include a live performance called Privacy, a TEDx conference, a United Nations virtual exhibition, an exhibition at the Great Pyramid of Giza and a workshop series in Abu Dhabi.

Ai-Da’s work is notable for its originality and value, as she was able to create art that had never been seen before with specially written AI algorithms. She has done well in drawing and painting and has recently ventured into collaborative sculptures.

Named after Ada Lovelace, a writer and mathematician widely recognized as the world’s first computer programmer, Ai-Da explores the boundaries of art and technology. Her work challenges traditional ideas about what it means to be an artist.

Ai-Da is a remarkable artist in her own right, with an innate understanding of human emotion and interaction. She has already begun to make a name for herself as a public speaker, giving talks and events on the power of artificial intelligence and its ability to change the world.
