Lucia Conconi's Biography

For more than 20 years, Lucia Conconi has engineered performance at the highest level of motorsport. Having held senior technical leadership roles with Sauber, Mercedes, Renault, Brawn GP, Honda and Audi Sport, she has helped develop championship-winning cars, world-class engineering teams and some of the most advanced performance systems in Formula 1.

As former Head of Vehicle Performance at Sauber Motorsport, Lucia led a department of more than 30 engineers and specialists spanning vehicle dynamics, simulation, software development, data analytics, machine learning and driver-in-the-loop simulation. Working at the intersection of engineering, technology and leadership, she broke down organisational silos, accelerated innovation and helped deliver Sauber’s strongest Constructors’ Championship finish in over a decade.

Today, Lucia advises organisations on strategy, leadership and performance, helping businesses apply Formula 1’s approach to systems thinking, data-driven decision-making and high-performing teams to solve complex challenges.
