Joshua Bandoch's Biography
Joshua Bandoch is an internationally recognized persuasion expert, keynote speaker, author, and communications and negotiation coach. He has spent over a decade uncovering the secrets of persuasion. He’s the author of How to Get What You Want: Mastering the Art and Science of Persuasion, which was ranked the #1 new book on negotiation on Amazon. It is being translated into Spanish, Portuguese, and Korean. He has appeared on dozens of negotiation, leadership, business, sales, communications, real estate, psychology, general interest, and policy podcasts. He delivered a TEDx Talk on “How to be more persuasive.” He speaks regularly to national and international audiences.
His proven approach to persuasion is grounded in extensive neuroscience and psychology research and practical experience writing hundreds of speeches for and consulting with senior officials, executives, and professionals in dozens of industries to just about any audience, as well as his own policy advocacy.
Josh earned his PhD from the University of Notre Dame and was a postdoctoral fellow at Brown University and the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He worked as a strategic communications consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton. He was a speechwriter for numerous senior government officials. He also worked as a fundraiser for a national nonprofit. He is currently Senior Vice President at a think tank focused on improving the lives of Americans on the bottom half of the economic ladder.
