Suzann Pettersen is one of the most iconic figures in women’s golf – a resilient competitor, inspiring role model and Solheim Cup legend. Often heralded as the “female Tiger Woods”, she has helped elevate the visibility and credibility of the women’s game and bring the sport to a broader global audience.

Across more than two decades at the top of professional golf, Pettersen is one of her generation’s most formidable players. A two-time major champion with 22 wins across the Ladies European Tour and LPGA Tour and three Norwegian Female Athlete of the Year titles, she has over 100 top-10 finishes, more than a decade inside the world’s top-20 and a top-10 finish for Norway at the 2016 Rio Olympics.

Suzann’s legacy is inseparable from the Solheim Cup. Between 2002 and 2022 she made nine appearances, secured four European victories and set a record of seven consecutive matches unbeaten against the USA. As captain of Team Europe in 2023 and 2024, she led a dramatic 14–14 tie to retain the cup and guided her team through another fiercely contested match, earning wide acclaim for her calm, unifying leadership.

Beyond the scorecard, Pettersen is a committed mentor, golf course designer and sustainability advocate. She supports up-and-coming players and channels her strategic insight into designing challenging yet enjoyable courses.
