Adam Frost's Biography

Adam Frost is an award-winning British garden designer and one of the best-known faces on BBC Gardeners’ World. Renowned for seven Gold Medals at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, he brings a designer’s eye and a craftsperson’s discipline to every stage—concept, build, and storytelling. An RHS Ambassador since 2014, Adam champions skills and careers in horticulture for the next generation.

On screen and on stage, Adam makes great design feel practical and achievable. He presents across the BBC’s coverage of the RHS Flower Shows and appears on flagship programmes including The One Show and DIY SOS. In 2025, his UK theatre tour “Lessons From The Garden” shares the plants, people and ideas that have shaped his life and work.

A committed educator and business owner, Adam established the Homebase Garden Academy (2013) to give early-career designers and landscapers real-world experience, and later launched The Adam Frost Garden School. Today he leads a busy design practice working on private, public and commercial projects, and contributes to professional bodies including the Horticulture Trades Association.

Adam is the author of best-selling practical guides that distil competition-level expertise into clear steps for any space.
