Lukas Haitzmann's Biography
Lukas Haitzmann is a boundary-pushing adventurer, mechanical engineer and impact entrepreneur whose quest for purposeful innovation drives every voyage and venture. At 18, he became the youngest person in history to row any ocean solo, completing a 3,000‑mile Atlantic crossing in 59 days and claiming three Guinness World Records.
For two months, his seven-metre boat battled 40‑foot waves while the nearest humans orbited on the International Space Station—transforming each oar‑stroke into a masterclass in composure, courage and relentless self‑leadership. Today, Lukas shows organisations how resilience is unlocked the moment you decide to act: swapping cautious hesitation for deliberate, forward-moving momentum even under extreme pressure.
A Swansea-trained mechanical engineer, he has founded five mission-led companies, most recently Greena World, a Techstars-backed climate-tech platform that has raised over $500K in angel funding and helps hotels and restaurants in 12 countries measure and reduce environmental impact. Earlier ventures include S.A.R.N.O. Industries (robotics for industrial automation) and Haitzmann Construction in the UK.
His leadership in climate-tech earned him the prestigious UK Tier 1 Exceptional Talent visa and the 2025 UN Climate Action Leader Award (March 27, 2025). Meanwhile, his documentary 14 Days South: Over Sea & Land, part of the award‑winning Pedal 4 Parks series, highlights grassroots environmental hope stories.
On stage, Lukas blends visceral storytelling with engineer‑sharp frameworks, equipping leaders and teams to turn adversity into innovation, build ventures that serve both profit and planet, and thrive far beyond their perceived limits.
