Luciana Berger, Baroness Berger of Barn Hill, is a trailblazing British parliamentarian, mental health advocate, and keynote speaker. Introduced to the House of Lords in March 2025, she continues to influence national policy on health, wellbeing, and inclusion.

Elected as MP for Liverpool Wavertree in 2010 at age 28, Berger served in multiple shadow cabinet roles, including as the UK’s first Shadow Cabinet Minister for Mental Health (2015–2016). She led impactful campaigns, such as banning smoking in cars with children and advocating for mental health first aid in workplaces.

Beyond Parliament, Berger has held senior roles at Edelman and iNHouse Communications, and currently advises gs8, a regenerative UK housebuilder. She chairs the Maternal Mental Health Alliance and serves on advisory boards for the Money and Mental Health Policy Institute and the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.

Berger’s accolades include the Jo Cox Memorial Award for Bravery & Heroism (2018), Jewish Care Woman of Distinction Award (2019), and recognition in British Vogue’s 2019 “Vogue 25” list.
