Jason Caldwell's Biography
Jason Caldwell is a world-record holding endurance athlete, leadership consultant, and keynote speaker, known for translating the lessons of extreme adventure into practical strategies for leadership and team performance in today’s dynamic business environment.
As an athlete, Jason has set world records across oceans and deserts, most notably captaining the American record-setting rowing team that crossed the Atlantic Ocean. After a grueling 51-day journey in 2015 marked by major setbacks, Jason returned to the race in 2017 with a new team and a renewed focus—this time not only winning the event but breaking the World Record as the fastest team to ever row across the Atlantic. His feats exemplify resilience, adaptability, and the relentless pursuit of excellence under pressure.
Today, Jason is the President and Owner of Latitude 35 Leadership, where he uses experiential training and extreme storytelling to help organizations build and maintain high-performance teams. He has worked with leaders from over 30 Fortune 500 companies and taught at premier business schools including Wharton, Columbia Business School, Darden, and Emory, delivering actionable insights on leadership, decision-making, and team dynamics.
As a keynote speaker with more than 13 years of experience, Jason draws on his extraordinary endurance challenges to explore how teams navigate adversity, leverage emotional intelligence, and perform at the highest levels. His book, Navigating the Impossible, offers a deep dive into emotion-driven leadership and the critical importance of understanding your “why” when striving for success against daunting odds.
