Michael Corbin's Biography

Michael Corbin is a distinguished diplomat and strategist, renowned for his decades of experience and service across the Middle East and Gulf region.
As the United States Ambassador to the UAE from 2011 to 2014, he played a key role in strengthening bilateral ties, driving forward cooperation on energy, trade, education, and defense. During his tenure, US exports to the UAE reached record levels, and his leadership helped position the UAE as a strategic partner in an increasingly interconnected world.

Corbin is the founder and CEO of Corbin Crossroads Consulting, advising US and international firms on navigating business and political environments across the Middle East. His advisory work includes partnerships with leading private equity firms, cybersecurity companies, and global consultancies. He is also a board advisor to Caliburn International and DC Capital Partners.
