Dr. Karim Jabbar is the CEO and Co-Founder of CarbonClear, a pioneering company in Digital Monitoring, Reporting, and Verification (D-MRV) systems that enhance transparency and trust in carbon markets. With over a decade of experience at the intersection of technology, sustainability, and business, Dr. Jabbar has collaborated with global organizations such as the World Bank, USAID, ENGIE, and Uber to develop innovative solutions for climate action and finance.

Dr. Jabbar’s contributions to climate technology and innovation have earned him several accolades. He has attracted innovation grants to advance renewable energy access and holds a patent pending for using blockchain in carbon credit verification and issuance. His work has also been featured on prominent platforms, including recognition by President Bill Clinton at the Clinton Global Initiative in 2022. Under his leadership, CarbonClear has partnered with over a dozen solar energy companies operating in 29 countries, enabling decentralized renewable energy projects and fostering verifiable, high-integrity carbon credit systems.

As an academic, Dr. Jabbar has spent over a decade teaching courses on blockchain, climate technology, and sustainable business development at institutions such as Copenhagen Business School and DIS.
