In 2023, she chaired the prestigious Women’s Prize for Fiction, showcasing her literary acumen. An accomplished author and podcaster, Louise’s contributions to these fields are widely recognized.

Before her remarkable stint on BBC Breakfast, Louise was a principal anchor for BBC News 24 and a leading presenter on BBC Radio 5 Live. Her versatility extended to guest-presenting on The One Show and anchoring BBC One series like Real Rescues, Missing Live, and Crime and Punishment. Her television appearances also include ITV’s I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here in Autumn 2021, where she made a significant impact and her near-win on Celebrity MasterChef. Louise is the acclaimed host of the highly-rated podcast, Push Your Peak, where she engages with elite athletes to explore the mental and physical rigors of reaching the pinnacle of sporting achievement.

A fervent enthusiast of endurance sports, Louise rediscovered her competitive spirit following a BBC Breakfast cycling challenge. Since then, she has participated in five World and European Championships, including the formidable Norseman triathlon in 2019.

In 2020, Louise undertook a grueling 100-mile trek across the Namibian desert for Sport Relief’s “The Heat is On” campaign, raising mental health awareness.

Her literary journey began with the 2019 release of “Dare to Tri,” published by Bloomsbury, which chronicles her transition from BBC Breakfast to international triathlon competition. Her 2023 book, “Fearless: Adventures with Extraordinary Women,” also by Bloomsbury, celebrates the successes of women in sport. In this work, she undertakes challenging adventures with remarkable women, including swimming from Alcatraz, ice freediving in Finland, wild caving, and traversing Dartmoor.
