Rusty Firmin, a former member of the elite SAS, has led a remarkable life shaped by his early struggles and later triumphs. From 1977 to 1992, Rusty participated in highly sensitive training operations worldwide, honing his skills in Special Forces training, presidential-level bodyguard training, and counter-terrorism techniques. He acquired diverse qualifications, including paramedic training, expertise in demolitions, and fluency in colloquial Arabic and Malay.

In the 1990s, Rusty continued to work across the globe, taking on various roles such as a diamond mine security consultant in West Africa and providing security and surveillance services during conflicts like the war in Sarajevo. His career also involved close protection and security management positions, including working with prestigious clients like Mel Gibson and the Japanese embassy in Afghanistan.
