Veronica Llorca's Biography

Veronica Llorca is a Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) consultant, public speaker, and published author.

Based in Hong Kong, Veronica has over 20 years of experience leading and developing large multicultural teams. She is a DEI advocate and leverages on various social media channels as well as podcasts to promote inclusion in organisations and society.

Her central speaking topic is on inclusive leadership. Tapping on her personal and professional expertise across different industries, Veronica inspires individuals and organisations to work more inclusively; from how they think to how they behave and collaborate. As an amateur triathlete, she also incorporates elements of sports in her bespoke talks to promote resilient well-being.

Having lived in 9 countries and worked with teams across 4 continents, Veronica is passionate about cultural agility and leading teams effectively through inclusion. Her region of expertise is Asia-Pacific, and she brings learnings from her corporate career at Apple where she was Head of Business for Hong Kong and Macau, and as Estée Lauder’s former Senior Director of Retail Operations and Training APAC.

Veronica Llorca has delivered public speeches and workshops to corporations, Chambers of Commerce and the EU Office in Hong Kong. She aims to raise awareness of DEI fundamentals, promote education and inspire action and advocacy through her talks. Veronica is the published author of ‘The Lemon Tree Mindset‘, a step-by-step book based on her career reinvention, growth mindset and mental agility.

Veronica is passionate about languages and communication. She speaks five language including English, Spanish, French, Italian and Portuguese. Veronica believes that speaking an inclusive language is a must to create an inclusive organisation and culture. She emphasises the guiding principles of neutrality, accuracy, relevance, and context with clear examples and case studies relevant to her audience. She most recently delivered a workshop on inclusive language at the Asian Women in Leadership Summit in Singapore in 2023.

Having published over 100 articles related to diversity and inclusion, and for her advocacy work, Veronica Llorca was nominated Diversity Lead of the Year 2023 Asia by Women in IT.
