Wladimir Klitschko's Biography

Dr. Wladimir Klitschko holds the record as the longest reigning heavyweight boxing champion combined of all time. Even during his boxing career, he began sharing his knowledge from three decades of competitive sports and helping people transform their problems into challenges with courage and realism.

Therefore in 2016 he founded Klitschko Ventures and developed the FACE the Challenge method from his philosophy of life „Challenge Management“. It is the core of the key skill of willpower. Willpower in the sense of transformation energy made him successful and allowed him to emerge stronger, even from less successful times.

Along with Tatjana Kiel, CEO of FACE Klitschko Ventures and Co-Creator of the method, the goal is to pass on this knowledge through inspirational speech, education and consulting, especially for leadership teams – all based on FACE:

In 2015, jointly with the Institute of Customer Insight at the University of St. Gallen, he established the German language, further education course CAS Change & Innovation Management where he regularly teaches about Challenge Management. In 2021 his expertise transfer was covered in a case study at Harvard Business School (HBS) and published in English.

Following his personal mission of “giving back”, Dr. Wladimir Klitschko founded the Klitschko Foundation with his brother over 20 years ago. The focus is on children and young people in Ukraine to support their education as well as social, emotional, and physical development. The NGO #WeAreAllUkrainians was initiated by him together with Tatjana Kiel in 2022 to support humanitarian projects in Ukraine.

Since February 24, 2022, the time of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Dr. Wladimir Klitschko is the voice from Kyiv, who stands side by side with his Ukrainian compatriots and his brother Dr. Vitali Klitschko, the mayor of Kyiv. He repeatedly calls on the world to take a stand against the injustice of this war and to support Ukraine.

Wladimir Klitschko acts as a „lobbyist“ for his country representing democratic values.
