Jason Kenny's Biography

Sir Jason Kenny has just retired from a glittering career in track cycling, and is one half of ‘Britain’s Golden Couple’ alongside his wife Dame Laura Kenny. His seven gold medals and two silvers make him Great Britain’s greatest ever Olympian.

After competing at four Olympic Games, Jason has joined the Great Britain Cycling team on the other side of the track, becoming the Podium Men’s Sprint Coach ahead of the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.

When it comes to the Olympics, Jason has a spotless record – finishing on the podium in every men’s sprint event since Beijing 2008.

With his kit partner, HUUB, Jason has created his own range of cycling kit, and is a proud start up investor in the newly engineered bike brand REAP, to create the world’s fastest performance bikes. He has also published a book “The Inside Track” with his wife Laura, Britain’s most decorated female Olympian in history.

Jason and Laura were named in the 2021 New Year Honours List and received their titles together, in May 2022, at Windsor Castle. Titles befitting their achievements and ones they were both truly honoured to receive.
